Reporting to the Engineering Manager and based near Burton-on-Trent, the successful Principal Electrical Engineer candidate will be tasked with ensuring that all electrical engineering work meets regulatory, safety, and quality standards while supporting both new build and aftermarket projects, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the electrical engineering team and acting as a key technical advisor across projects. It is envisaged the successful Principal Electrical Engineer candidate will be qualified to at least Degree / Master's Degree level in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Electronic Engineering with at last 8 years or more demonstrable experience in electrical engineering, ideally within a locomotive, rail, or heavy industrial equipment environment.
