Continuous professional & personal development support - Forming part of our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS), our Countermeasure Development team provide technical advice and support to our customers relating to countermeasure development, engineering support and delivery, as well as supporting internal initiatives relating to innovation and research, projects, training and bid delivery. This opportunity will also expose you to working with our software development team, and the assurance process all releasable software products must follow. As a senior modeller within the team, you will have the autonomy to develop models, add new features into the countermeasure software, and solving customer challenges and requirements. A hands on Engineering Manager is needed for a friendly, close-knit manufacturing site close to the M11 corridor. Youll lead a small engineering team while also being actively involved in maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement across the plant. * Oversee engineering projects, new equipment installations, and upgrades. * Deliver engineering support aligned with safety, quality, and cost targets. * Provide hands-on leadership and support to the engineering team. * Strong mechanical or maintenance engineering background in a production environment. * Chemical Engineering background is a bonus. * Engineering degree or equivalent experience. £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience) About the Role - Responsibilities * Lead mechanical and maintenance activities, including breakdowns and improvements. * Manage the Scheduled Maintenance Plan and ensure accurate documentation.
