World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage (the role can be a split of working Onsite and Working From Home) is currently looking to recruit a number of Electronics Design Engineer subcontractors on an initial 12 month contract. Job Title:Electronics Design Engineer Electronic Design Engineers with excellent skills in Analogue Design or Digital Design or Power Design or FPGA are sought after. Within the function, you will be working with other engineers who have a collective wealth of experience across a wide range technologies and products and are happy to share their knowledge to support one another, ensuring opportunities for improvement are identified and best practice is upheld. You will have a sound track record in electronic design capability throughout the product life cycle, i.e. early concept through to production.

The ideal candidate will have experience automating network devices (routers, firewalls, servers), strong CI/CD skills with GitLab, and familiarity with Red Hat OS, OpenShift, and automation frameworks. This role will drive network automation, infrastructure-as-code deployments, and platform integrations. * Design, implement, and maintain network automation using Itential IAP, Cisco NSO, and Python. * Manage workflows, integrations, APIs, and multi-vendor network devices. * Deploy and manage automation microservices on Red Hat OpenShift. * Work with Python, YAML, XML, JavaScript, and Jinja for automation tasks. * Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows and platform performance. * 5-7 years of telecom experience, with 3-4 years in telecom automation.
