Lead protection & control design for high-voltage substation and transmission projects. * Approve protection schemes, relay settings, and technical designs. * Review and sign off detailed substation protection packages (up to 400kV). * Carry out protection coordination and fault level studies. * Mentor junior engineers and support team development. * 12+ years' experience in Protection & Control engineering. * Strong understanding of protection systems, relays, and grid operations. * Review vendor documents, specifications, and technical submissions. * Provide technical input during construction and site activities. * Ensure compliance with UK standards, CDM regulations, and client requirements. * Provide quality assurance and technical governance across deliverables. * Liaise with clients and project stakeholders. * Strong background in HV transmission and substation projects (132kV-400kV).
