We are looking for a Service Manager to join our Service team atLinn& Inner Dowsing(LID) Wind Farm,Grimsby. As a Service Manager, you will oversee Balance of Plant (BoP) service operations at our windfarm. You must have previous experience gained from an operational role where you have taken responsibility for a large team of Technicians. Another key element to the role is customer focus and again you must be able to demonstrate previous experience working closely with customers. What are my responsibilities?

As Service Manager you are responsible and accountable for ensuring implementation and adherence to strategies, policies, processes and methods for service operations activity (technically and/or commercially) for assigned organizational unit including:

- Implements defined superior policies and guidelines, and defines and ensures implementation of function specific processes procedures and/or tools
- Ensures the delivery of services on an operational level with respect to process adherence, service quality, and profitability.
- Implements workforce development measures
- Acts as primary escalation contact to customers and resolves issues with external and internal stakeholders.
- Supervises/conducts the negotiations of and adherence to Service Level Agreements
- Supports in developing service Leads
- Ensures obeying regional laws and regulations
- Manages organization unit(s) assigned, and lead and coordinate dedicated management and staff.
- Manage the implementation of all planned maintenance associated Civil & HV Electrical Balance of Plant scope
- Ensure wind farm compliance with all statutory regulations associated with BoP legislation and the wind farm's Written Scheme
- Manage timely and effective responses to unscheduled Balance of Plants events/failures liaising with specialist sub contractors
- Oversee all planned outage activities on the windfarm , maximizing wind farm production
- Conduct technical reviews of specialist Civil BoP sub contractors output reports (scour surveys, subsea diving works, TP foundation maintenance, etc)
- Prepare scope documents for reactive BoP projects supporting the procurement of specialist BoP sub contractors

What do I need to qualify for this role?

- Previous experience managing a large team of Engineering Technicians ideally gained within a Service environment.
- Experience managing and developingCustomer relationships.
- Product technical knowledge would be adventageous.
- Understanding of Siemens Wind Power organisation, particularly technical functions Comprehensive understanding and consistent demonstration of competency levels 1 - 3 Advanced Technical Activity
- Detailed knowledge and experience of Civil and Electrical Balance of Plant structures on offshore wind farms
- Education to degree level or equivalent, ideally with an engineering background that supports technical BoP competence.
