A Regional Sales Manager is required for a leading provider of automotive software to garages and workshops. The Field Sales Manager will develop new business and develop and grow existing business working closely with key distributors.

East Midlands - Ideal Location - Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Nottingham, Chesterfield, Mansfield

30-35k Basic + Uncapped Bonus (Typical OTE circa 45k) + Car

The Role

Key Responsibilities

- Obtain, maintain and grow the customer base of garages and workshops within a defined region.
- Attain and exceed monthly goals for the territory
- Where needed, assist in installation and training of the product lines.
- Leverage existing customers to meet company objectives
- Utilise a professional consultative sales approach in all phases of the sales process
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Provide input to management concerning industry trends
- Occasional support of local tradeshows, customer and partner events.
- Cultivate relationships with approved strategic distribution partners.

This job is ideal for an experienced business hunter and developer who thrives in generating new business opportunities. Additionally, we seek a highly focused sales achiever hungry to exceed sales targets and make things happen.

The Candidate

Essential Skills or Attributes

- Target driven individual focused on exceeding sales and targets.
- Proven abilities targeting new business and new trading channels.
- Experience within the automotive industry, preferably selling to garagesand workshops.
- Excellent Sales, Negotiating and closing skills
- Three to five years of proven direct sales success.
- Highly capable presenter able to deliver creative solutions.
- Technical aptitude with enthusiasm within the car market and repair shop environment.
- High levels of verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent PC literacy is essential - a passion for demonstrating IT solutions.
- Good team player.
- Highly motivated with a flexible approach
- Good business acumen and eager to close deals.

Knowledge and previous career experience of selling data management products / solutions or automotive diagnostics / Telematics or solution based technical products into the automotive aftermarket motor industry will be of exceptional interest.
