Intercepts Anaysis Specialist

Working as part of a small team at an overseas facility in the Middle East, for an overseas military customer you will be required to fulfil a mentoring role providing:

- Mentoring and direction for the customer's specialist manpower
- Development of Radar emitter intercept analysis methodologies
- Specialist training both theoretical and job-oriented. The selected candidate would have recent experience of operating in an EW operational support role and be familiar with the use of RF pulse analysis tools and ideally the Telemus TALON tool.

The specific purpose of the Intercepts Analysis Specialist is to equip the customer's specialist personnel with the knowledge, skills and aptitude necessary to independently and indigenously analyse recorded RF emitter parametrics, identify and categorise the waveform and prepare it for databasing. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to provide support to the customer in the development and maintenance of processes associated with the task and the training requirements.

The candidate must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and a competent team player who can communicate clearly both verbally and in writing to people whose first language is not English.

The candidate must also be eligible for UK MoD clearance for access to the appropriate security level.

Mandatory Skill Requirements:

Software - MS Office

Tools & Methodologies - Radar pulse analysis tools

Applications - Knowledge of Radar and EW Systems

Markets - Defence and Aerospace

Other - Ideally suited to an ex-military SNCO with experience of working in this specialist role within an EW Operational Support organisation.

Desirable Skill Requirements:

Tools & Methodologies - Telemus TALON pulse analysis tool

Applications - Knowledge of relational EW database management systems

Other - Presentations and briefings, training abilities
