Food & Drink Futures are supporting a leading food manufacturer in the Midlands area. They are a multi-site manufacturer currently looking to recruit a Front Line Manager within a fast paced manufacturing department.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable, expanding business at one of their lucrative manufacturing facilities.
The successful Front Line Manager will be responsible for the organisation of Production, always ensuring safe and efficient operations to ensure quality manufacturing of products.
This position would suit an experienced Manager (Production/Manufacturing) with food experience looking to join a large organisation. The candidate will need to have fantastic communication skills with a real passion for food manufacturing.
Front line Manager Duties:
Measure performance to ensure maximum productivity throughout the team
Waste reduction management
Control levels of waste and recording Overall equipment Effectiveness (OEE), downtime, staff efficiency and weight of product
Achieving and reporting team KPIs with a focus on implementing continuous improvement
Performing under a strict agree budget and effective staff management
Coaching and developing of manufacturing staff
Carry out monthly/annual reviews along with performance management of staff
Leading/Supporting CI Projects

The Front Line Manager will have:

Previous managerial experience working within a food manufacturing/production environment
A strong understanding of the manufacturing process in terms of efficiency/quality/materials and equipment
Exceptional people management skills
Target driven looking to deliver high standards of performance
Confident problem solver with the ability to think on your feet
Previous experience of implementing change and driving continuous improvement
Strong leadership and coaching skills
