The Role:
• Conduct detailed design work on steel structures.
• Conduct verification of subcontractor design work, such as calculations, computer models and drawings.
• Estimation of bills of quantities and site surveys in response to client enquiries.
• Work with branch and HQ engineers, site installation and proposal teams from client enquiry through to project implementation regarding mechanical design aspects.
The Candidate
• HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical design engineering.
• HND Mechanical Engineering with design components
• Engineering Council Registered Engineer
• Experienced in Mechanical Design within the thermal power or wider experience within the oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear or other heavy industries.
