Are you an open minded, technically strong Senior Engineer ready to work on a series of challenging new projects within a well-established Bridges team?
With extensive experience of bridges in concrete, steel and timber construction, involvement on relevant code committees, and recognised innovative approach, our client's North Yorkshire office delivers innovative, appropriate design for various bridge projects.
They wish to appoint a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their team and work on a wide variety of projects.
You will have a good degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, will have achieved Chartered status and will have previous experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment together with sound experience of working on D&B / ECI contracts.
You will be able to utilise your previous experience in the design of Bridges and other Highway Structures along with your sound knowledge and understanding of DMRB standards.
With an aptitude for structural analysis and design, you will have proven ability in the leadership of design teams and will be willing and capable of tackling challenging problems, whilst developing innovative solutions.
You will be able to demonstrate your strong communication and leadership skills to gain credibility across the business.
Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £32 - 36,000 p.a., together with an attractive benefits package.
