The Company
This is a UK leading, rapidly growing, electrical automation, controls and Instrumentation Company. Established over thirty years ago they have grown to over 20 offices and turn over has increased significantly to the £100m mark. They are aiming to continue double digit growth and continue their ongoing success into the next thirty years.
The Role
Selling predominantly into the Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Automotive, Pharmaceutical and petro-chemical industries the Sales Engineer will be selling the company's products on a solution based, consultative approach. The Sales Engineer will be expected to grow the South Yorkshire territory on both a new business and account management basis. The role will need the Sales Engineer to manage their diary while liaising with the close knit and supportive internal sales team.
The Person
The Sales Engineer will be a self driven and autonomous person. With a strong desire to join a successful growing business the Sales Engineer will want to bring a strong skill set and continue to learn. The Sales Engineer will need to have a qualification to at least HNC level in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and abilities to do both new and repeat business. An integral part of the role will involve contact with all levels of hierarchy demanding excellent relationship building skills.
The Reward
The Sales Engineer will find consistent performance will result in progression through the company to line or account management roles. Training will be provided on products and to fill any gaps. The Sales Engineer will also have an on-going development plan. The Sales Engineer will receive a package of:
