Our client is the leading bespoke manufacturer of street furniture for industries as diverse as Schools, local authority, and supermarkets.
Due to internal promotion they are now looking to recruit a talented and experienced Production Manager. You'll work closely with other departments to ensure:
Delivery to internal and external customers on time
Ensure the Production Area has the correct level of staff with the appropriate flexibility in skills
Improve production processes to reduce costs
Implement Lean manufacturing principles to drive out waste and improve cycle times
Develop team leaders and all staff
Work closely with engineering to ensure seamless introduction of new products
Ideally you will be HNC qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline/and or qualified by experience
You will be ambitious, forward thinking and have the desire to stamp your own personality and make the role your own.
