They are looking to recruit a number of project engineers to join the thermal power plant teams of our Generation Business Division in the South East Region.
The division is heavily involved in all aspects of power station development, energy from waste, biomass, nuclear and renewable projects in the UK, as well as overseas, working with a diverse range of Clients including utilities, EPC contractors, civil contractors, developers and major financing institutions.
Job Role
Project managers in the Generation Thermal Sub-division are responsible to a Project Director for delivery of the 'day to day' activities of a thermal power project, including client relationships, resource management and budgetary performance.
Candidates for the role of project manager should have experience in the development, construction commissioning or operation of power plants utilising fossil fuels. Particular experience of new develop mentor existing asset due diligence, pre-bid technical advisory support, preparation of plant specifications, evaluation of tenders, design review, construction, commissioning procedures and/or plant operation would be beneficial.
The Generation Thermal Sub-division consists of a number of multi-disciplinary teams of project managers and project engineers, each headed by a team leader who is responsible for staff development and resource allocation.
