As a subsidiary of the largest marketer, producer and distributor of one of the world’s leading brands, our client is looking to further develop the engineering function at its West Yorkshire site. They are now looking to recruit a Head of Engineering / Engineering Manager to head up the engineering function.
Reporting to the Site General Manager, you will have a key role in driving site efficiency through engineering interventions which cover asset care, site services and technical support. The role involves developing and implementing the capital expenditure programme, driving the continuous improvement agenda and leading a high performance team.
An experienced and qualified Engineer (electrical or mechanical) you will understand the requirements of managing a sizeable and complex manufacturing and distribution site. You will have a background of influencing change through people, capital project management and understanding the key methodologies around continuous improvement.
In addition, passion, ambition and drive are required in equal measure.
