SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – Building Services -

They currently manage a diverse portfolio of projects & developments including; Commercial Office, Town Centre redevelopments, Industrial, Leisure, Health, Transport and Retail.
The role includes;
As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will be involved a broad range of schemes from basic level projects such as large warehouses to prestigious head office buildings.
Your role will be to support less experienced Engineers, contribute to the design of major schemes and also to oversee smaller works.
As a Senior HVAC Design Engineer you will be expected to take an active role in client meetings both at the planning and on site stages of work representing the practice in both mechanical and electrical aspects of schemes.
Requirements include;
- Management of projects to achieve client satisfaction and profitability for the business
- Identify and manage resources to achieve project requirements
- Financial management and reporting on project profitability
- Technical and quality reviews of project information
- Developing conceptual & detailed designs solutions inline with client’s brief
- Production of mechanical specifications
- Represent the business at external functions
- Assist in the preparation of fee submissions and project bids
- Conduct oneself professionally at all times and in a responsible manner
- Reviewing technical competency of mechanical work
- Design, supervision and technical reviewing of allocated projects
- Provide specialist technical advice and guidance at project and group level
An experienced Mechanical Design Engineer you will need to have a strong building services design background to be considered for this role.
You will be working with Hevacomp to confirm your design calculations and have CAD support provided by a very capable in house team.
