Laboratory Technician is required to work in Normanton for an Automotive company.
We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to work for an Automotive company based in Normanton, West Yorkshire.
The client is a global provider of engineering, design, and manufacture for seat comfort, driver and motion control systems, fluid assemblies, and industrial driver interface products.
The Quality department produce Teflon hoses to be installed to Automotive vehicles.
Your main duties will include:
Maintain the level of all report writing
Co-ordinate all customer test projects and validations
Co-ordinate and assure completion of annual validation requirements
Machine installations, calibration and servicing
Production testing/first off testing
Managing the calibration system and management system analysis
Tensile testing, salt spray testing and volumetric expansion testing requirements
It is an advantage if you have a HNC or similar in a Material science subject. You must have A levels one equivalent in Mathematics and Science.
You must of also had a proven track record as a Laboratory Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably the Automotive industry.
The salary is 18,000 per annum.
You will be working 08:30 - 17:15 Mon - Thurs and 08:30 - 13:00 Fri.
You will benefit form a company pension (after 1 years service) as well as 20 days bank holidays which rises to 25 after 3 years service (also receive bank holidays as well).
