With customers throughout the north of England, our client is a leading and long established supplier of a diverse range of refrigeration, catering and air conditioning equipment. An opportunity has now arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join their team.

Covering Yorkshire and the surrounding area, in this role you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining air conditioning units, refrigeration units and catering equipment for commercial outlets. This role will require you to occasionally travel to the head office in Blackburn.
To succeed as a Field Service Engineer you must have a qualification in refrigeration handling, for example an apprenticeship qualification or HND/NVQ (or equivalent) in refrigeration and air conditioning. Our client welcomes applications from both time served candidates and newly qualified, junior applications.
Previous experience of servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, particularly from within the brewery industry, would be advantageous to your application – but isn’t essential.
Additionally, as a Field Service Engineer you must have excellent planning and organisation skills, a strong customer focus, and a full UK driving licence. This role requires you to work on a rota, including weekends and out of hours.
