Our client seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong ability in the following technical areas:
- C / C++
- GNU make / developing & maintaining software build systems
- Linux shell scripting
- Configuration management
- Using Linux as a development environment
Advantageous skills:
- Linux programming
- Real-time software development
- Test system specification & development
ROLE:
* Our client's development team is split between the UK & the US, developing & supporting a range of products derived from a number of base platforms
* Their Software Engineers contribute bug fixes & ongoing development to these products, with the UK engineers generally supplying Linux Operating System & driver releases to the US-based team
* You will manage the inclusion & building of these software submissions to the appropriate products, generating software releases according to priorities set in conjunction with US-UK management |
