Our client in Leeds is seeking to recruit a Technician to provide a range of technical support across their Transport Planning section.
You will be involved in managing, analysing and presenting data, which will include searching for and downloading information on and from the internet and other sources.
Our client will train you to use specialist traffic / transport software packages and you will be expected to produce drawings, figures and tables for inclusion in technical reports (using the standard Microsoft Office package and AutoCAD). There will also be a requirement to occasionally help out at onsite inspections and surveys.
You will have at least a C grade at GCSE level or equivalent in both English and Maths, will be computer literate, especially confident using spreadsheets, e-mail and the internet and you will be numerate with a flair for manipulating and interpreting data.
The ability to use AutoCAD would be preferred, but is in no way essential as training will be provided if required.

Our client will offer an attractive salary, probably in the range of £14,500 - £18,000 p.a., together with a competitive benefits package.
