Depending on qualifications and experience the salary for this position is £26,000 - £30,000.

What is the Role?

This role will see you joining a leading Highway Consultancy, due to their continued expansion and development they are looking for a Highway Design Engineer to join their team.

Your role will see you joining one of the teams, which consist of three to five engineers and technicians working on the design and procurement of highway and infrastructure projects.

You shall be based in Huddersfield therefore taking a proactive role in a wide range of mainly development led projects throughout the country. You shall be working alongside Local Highway Planning Authorities and Private Developers.

This consultancy employs some 40 specialists in two offices in the UK. They have strong policies for quality, health and safety, environmental issues as well as employee development through continual learning.

As a Highway Design Engineer you will benefit from ICE accredited, IHT, and IHIE training towards professional qualifications.

What Skills do I need?

· Hold or be working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
· Suitable experience within Highways Design field.
· AutoCAD and 3D design/ground modelling
· Drainage design
· WINDES and hydraulic modelling procedures.
· DMRB – (Design Manual for Roads and Bridges)
