The client is a multi million pound turnover company that specialises in the design and manufacturing in the gas turbines market. Established for 36 years, they have 250 people working in the North East site. They have a impressive client list including Rolls Royce, Mitsubishi, Siemens and GE.
The company is looking to continue with their recent growth and they plan to do this by recruiting top quality new staff and by winning new contracts and projects.
You will be managing project programmes and budgets, acting as a liaison between customers and other departments and ensuring projects run as smoothly as possible. You will be involved in determining priorities and monitoring the status of special projects on an ongoing basis.
The perfect candidate will have mechanical engineering skills, will be a team player, ideally have a fabrication background, have knowledge of quality assurance systems and have the ability to read, understand and communicate technical engineering drawings.
