These services include; - Advice on sustainable design and construction; - Specific design advice and assessment (BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes and CEEQUAL assessments); - Sustainability assessments (including the use of sustainability checklists); - Construction and waste management plans. - Sustainability, Environmental / Engineering background (or both). - A relevant amount of post degree experience, preferably in a consultancy environment. - Experience of sustainable design and construction / sustainable development. - Experienced BREEAM assessor, preferably licensed in BREEAM Offices as a minimum. - Knowledge and experience of CEEQUAL and Code for Sustainable Homes preferable. You would join a growing team of sustainability professionals within the Environmental Resources & Management team and play a key role in delivering services to both existing and new clients. Duties would include the delivery of BREEAM / Code for Sustainable Homes, CEEQUAL and sustainability assessments and the production of environmental and waste management plans. We seek a motivated individual, with a keen interest in furthering their career within a multi-disciplinary sustainability consultancy team. Experience in the field of Sustainable Construction is essential and the role will require the delivery of BREEAM assessments for a variety of clients. The incumbent will play a key role within the Sustainability Team, delivering sustainability services including BREEAM assessments to a wide variety of public and private sector clients, predominantly in the north of the UK. The role will require direct client contact in order to effectively deliver the above services and will also involve contribution to project proposals and tenders, assist the Senior Sustainability Consultant in the performance of their duties providing technical support as required.
