Job Description
Due to the continued success and growing workload of our water business, we are seeking to recruit a number of Infrastructure Engineers to our Water & Waste Water North East. The successful candidate will join an existing team of engineering staff, and will play a key role in developing our engineering design capability. Work will include a range of Q&S III related water and wastewater projects together with water and wastewater aspects of major opportunities in other sectors.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Infrastructure Engineer with Water and / or Waste Water industry experience. They will be chartered or approaching chartered status. The candidate will be technically excellent in either water or wastewater process engineering and ideally have a thorough knowledge of the other discipline. Due to the nature of this role and the potential for frequent travel to attend client sites, a full driving licence is essential.
Responsibilities
We will be looking for the candidate to demonstrate a proactive outlook enabling them to work with other Atkins Process engineers across the country to advance our technical capabilities to the highest standards. They will be encouraged to identify and pursue innovative approaches and techniques to add value and competitive edge to our business growth. Main duties will include but not be limited to: - Completion of technical tasks as appropriate to complete works;
- Delivery of projects to time, quality and budget in accordance with relevant standards and codes required;
- Carrying out all tasks in accordance with Atkins Quality Assurance procedures.
