My client is offering a Graduate Water Engineer the opportunity to become part of a large, expanding water environment team, working on a wide variety of projects. Reporting to the Senior Engineer you will have the opportunity to use your Civil Engineering skills to solve problems in many aspects of clean water, sewerage and river based projects.
As a Water Engineer this role will require you to complete analytical studies, conceptual designs, feasibility reports, detailed design, contract and drawing production. They have high percentage of ongoing projects and a strong pipeline of work with current schemes including major flood and pollution alleviation projects for water companies, pilot research studies for DEFRA and SNIFFER, clean water trunk main design and distribution, hydraulic modelling of WwTw, sewerage systems, clean water DMA's analysis and masterplanning, water cycle studies, river flood risk assessments and design of canals, river weirs, fish passes and overflow chutes.
Having a strong presence within the water industry they are looking to expand their existing team in Birmingham. There is a strong line of support available from Senior Engineers to assist you in gaining Chartered Status, and a committed management team who are focussed on helping to develop all of the team members with their career.
You will hold a degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and may be qualified in a Water Environment subject. You will be required to hold some post graduate experience within the water industry and of clean water network modelling.
