Internal Sales Engineer - engineer who wants to be in sales and possibly external sales in the future - reasonable Mechanical and Electrical Engineering knowledge - based Lichfield, Staffordshire - salary £22 - 28K
We are looking for an Internal Sales Engineer with a reasonable Mechanical and Electrical Engineering knowledge who would be able to communicate to a variety of people from shop floor to management
This would suit someone with a good overall knowledge of engineering who wants to be in sales (and possibly external sales in the future)
Day to day duties of the Internal Sales Engineer (Mechanical and Electrical) will be:-
* Researching markets using Internet, trade press and trade manuals
* Working with the companies marketing company and advising on the content of marketing literature, flyers, editorials etc
* Keeping updated with the exhibition, table top and seminar annual programme
* Working with the company's external sales engineers and providing possible leads or markets to investigate
* Managing a Customer relationship management (CRM) system and keeping the system updated.
* Updating and maintaining reference lists, looking after the marketing budget and ensuring that the company is always providing the external sales force with the latest literature
* Helping the Spares and Service department to market themselves better
* Maintaining the CRM for Spares and Service.
