Our client is currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager in order to help successfully deliver a large project based in Birmingham. You will be reporting directly to the Project Engineer and the position will be responsible for planning and resourcing a programme of siteworks. The project is to provide consultancy support for the operation of Network Rail’s High Output ballast cleaner operating in Network Rail’s London North Western (LNW) territory. Work includes the planning and execution of route survey and material sampling and the preparation of an interpretive report to guide the client on the scope and specification of work in advance of physical works being completed. Your main tasks will be: General tasks will include managing resources and co-ordinating vehicle, material and equipment purchases and delivery preparation and submission of WPP’s Task Briefings, RIMINI paperwork and risk assessments in order to undertake site work and liaising effectively with subcontractors, sub-consultants, co-workers and the client.
