Material Handler - Based in Rugby

Our client is a worldwide specialist in Power Conversion. They provide customized solutions to convert electrical energy through optimum application of technology in drives, controls, motors and generators. Purpose of the role:
Working within the Electrical Machines Manufacturing Unit, based in Rugby, the purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth movement of material and components throughout the factory directly to point of use.

Your Responsibilities

  • Crane driving, and slinging.

  • Fork lift truck driving.

  • Removal of waste to appropriate location.

  • General housekeeping duties.


  • Health & Safety Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for self and others.

  • To co-operate fully with all safe working practices.


  • Candidate Requirements:

  • Ideally, you will have some relevant experience in a material handling activities.

  • You will need to be numerate and literate.

  • A fork lift truck license and experience of overhead cranes is desirable.

  • In addition you must be able to work various shifts (including nights) as required.

  • You will need to be a good team player with an honest and hardworking attitude with a flexible approach to the business needs.
