Manufacturing Controller - Based in Rugby

Purpose of the role:
Working within the Manufacturing Department at Electrical Machines, the purpose of the role is to produce Process Planning instructions for manufacturing within EMMU.
Your Responsibilities
Produce process planning information for production orders for rotors, stators, final assembly etc. Issue factory production paperwork, including drawings. Create shipping documentation Administer Perpetual Inventory checks and analyse discrepancies and advise corrective action. Investigate Production order closure errors and resolve. Carry out costing investigations Analysis of actual time bookings, policing of operation claims, investigate and reconcile actual time booking errors highlighted by Finance. Administer sub-contractor time sheets and create purchase orders. Carry out Night shift operator claims Produce costs for QUARTZELEC activities on EMMU projects. Investigate/troubleshoot problems in Triton, train/assist various Triton users. Allocate cost price component codes for new items Create subcontract work centres for new suppliers. Check and clear subcontract operations. Check and resolve issues on Triton error reports. Action waste reports and engineering notices where extra material/items are required
Candidate Requirements:
Ideally, you will be educated to a minimum standard of GCSE or equivalent. You will be computer literate. Previous experience of a background in a Non-Repetitive Manufacturing Environment is essential. You must be a self-starter who is willing to learn and is adaptable to change. In addition a knowledge of heavy Electrical Machine Manufacturing processes and production control and planning would be advantageous.
