A international multi-disciplinary has a requirement for their Geotechnics team in Birmingham to undertake a variety of geotechnical/engineering geology assignments including ground investigation, interpretation and design tasks under supervision. Most of the work will be office based, but could involve site work.
You must have a first degree in civil engineering or engineering geology, be numerate and able to write in good English. It would be desirable if you have some or all of the following experience:
Ground Investigation contract documents, supervision, preparation of ground models and geotechnical design (slopes/foundations/earthworks). Knowledge of some environmental practises would be an advantage although not essential as some of the project work is land development, other project work includes water, railways and roads.
