Title: Geotechnical Engineer
Reporting to: Team Leader
Responsibilities:
The role will involve predominantly geotechnical tasks working on desk and feasibility studies, ground investigation planning and supervision, computer analysis and engineering design, technical reporting, completion of other technical tasks as appropriate to complete the works, site visits and liaison with clients, contractors, stakeholders and other professional bodies.
Location:
The position will be based at the offices in the Midlands
Requirements:
The candidate must have a sound technical background in a civil engineering degree plus a postgraduate degree in a geotechnical subject. The ability to communicate effectively with clients and operate in a competitive and commercial environment must be demonstrated. Candidates without post graduate experience or with degrees in engineering geology subjects may also be considered.
Experience:
We are looking for strong technical candidates, with appropriate amount of experience in geotechnical engineering (2-4years). We are keen to meet individuals who feel they can deliver the role described above, whether their experience has been gained in a civil engineering consultancy or as a designer for a ground-engineering contractor.
