Our local Authority is looking to expand their in-houseEngineering team due to an increase in work load. You'll be at the heart of improving the quality of life for the people of the County, managing and maintaining 5,500 km of road and over 1,000 structures, ensuring a better, safer environment. With the scope to follow your ideas and vision through from start to finish, you'll work within the Innovative County Highways Partnership in the delivery of an exciting portfolio - from major highway schemes to traffic calming, safer routes to school, town centre enhancement, major land and reclamation infrastructure and land regeneration.
Qualified to at least HNC level you will relish the challenges of the role and you will bring real energy and determination to being in the forefront of project delivery.
Experience in one or more of the following fields is required: highway / structural / geotechnical engineering or traffic management. You will also be comfortable working to targets and you will share our commitment to excellence.
