Their customers operate in three main markets: Marine, Oil and gas, Energy and Industry as well as in many specialized areas.
They cover every aspect from design-only to turnkey systems, installation and commissioning, all backed by a full range of support services.
Your Role is :
The company has recently set up a Knowledge transfer partnership (KTP) with The University of Bath, the KTP will develop sustainable knowledge management strategies supporting the execution of long life contracts engineered across the world.
The rapid expansion of the company is creating exciting new business opportunities but also operational and organisational challenges, particularly associated with information and knowledge management.
The Partnership will develop explicit knowledge management foundations to enhance the Companies service business by reducing cycle times, improving the customer interface and rationalising processes.
You will have access to and be supported by world class academics from the Engineering Innovative Manufacturing Research Centre at the University and the Senior Management Team within the company.
The work will mainly be undertaken at the company’s headquarters in Rugby
This challenging post will prepare suitable candidates for major career opportunities within the company; potentially leading and developing the company’s knowledge management strategies.
Recent major projects include the power and propulsion systems for the next generation of all electric warships for the UK MoD, the world’s first all electric natural gas carrier and power systems for the next generation offshore wind farms.
