We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager with experience of diesel engines and/or electric motor driven equipment in power ranges from 30kW to 500 kW and a sound working knowledge of AutoCAD
Experience of process industry and hazardous area working is essential.
The Engineering Project Manager will also need to have a good knowledge of hydraulics & electro mechanical control systems. Previous experience in the European Oil & Gas industry would be an asset.
The role will involve taking total project responsibility for managing the design, technical specification, liaison with the client, documentation, overseeing the build, FAT and organising installation and commissioning for a company that designs and manufactures bespoke high pressure pumping equipment to a wide range of industries from Offshore Oil & Gas to Automotive
Reporting to the Engineering Director the main day to day duties will include:
* Total project responsibility for managing the design, technical specification, liaison with the client, documentation, overseeing the Build, FAT and organising installation and commissioning.
* Generating Project Plans and managing and driving implementation.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant National & International
specifications and standards and Regulatory requirements
Planning and monitoring resources
Experience of certification and association documentation would be useful, but not essential. Detailed design will usually be done by others, but you must have a sound working knowledge of AutoCAD.
