This world leading company in power conversion engineering customises solutions to convert electrical energy into productive performance, through the design and manufacture of rotating machines (motor & generators), Variable Speed Drives, Process Automation and Controls for Industrial, Marine, Oil & Gas and Energy Markets.
From their UK HQ in the Midlands, they are looking to further expand and develop with the immediate recruitment of new Power Electronics Engineers.
Responsibilities will include the specification, design, test and documentation power electronic systems for multi-megawatt drive systems. To work as part of a multi-skilled team, taking full responsibility for small to medium sized designs plus subsystems within large designs.
Ideal candidates will be of graduate calibre with experience of IGBT or thyristor based drives with knowledge of drive control systems and real time, PLC or simulation programming.
A good team player, effective communicator is required who is willing to travel within the UK and overseas for short term working.
