Last year they turned obver £11m and this year they are expected to turnover approximately £18m. They serve the aerospace, automotive, packaging, building and construction, commercial transportation, and industrial markets, bringing design, engineering, production, and other capabilities of their businesses as a single solution to customers.
Due to continued growth they have 6 vacancies for Maintenance Fitters / Engineers both mechanical and electrical to join their team based in the South Birmingham area of the UK.
What our client is looking for is either time served Maintenance Fitters / Engineers from within a Heavy Engineering type environment or newly qualified Maintenance Fitters / Engineers with the desire to work in a Heavy Engineering type environment. Candidates therefore who have worked in foundries, on extrusion and forging type machinery would be ideal.
Skills / Experience
• Heavy Engineering professional experience
• Engineering qualifications, E.g. C&G, 16th / 17th Edition
• Hydraulics / Pneumatics experience
• Electrical fault finding skills including PLC’s (not essential)
