Lift Engineer – Birmingham – to £35k + benefits
Our client is a well established M&E Building Services Consultant offices handling projects for both the public & private sectors across the UK. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a “Vertical Transportation Engineer” to join their Birmingham office as part of the expansion of their Lifts Group into the location.
Duties within the position will include:
• Involvement in condition reports on existing passenger & cargo lift installations
• Management of refurbishment works
• Organisation of maintenance contracts
• Design of new lift & escalator systems
• Lift Traffic Analysis using computerised simulation software
• Tender specification & drawing production
• Tender evaluations
• Onsite observations & progress reporting
Qualified to HNC level or higher in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, the successful applicant will have experience of similar duties gained with either an M&E Building Services Consultant or a Major Lift Manufacturer and be able to demonstrate excellent design & analysis skills.
