For over 30 years our client has been supplying its Blue-Chip customers with fully integrated process control and automation solutions. They pride themselves in their ability to implement and project manage turnkey systems.
The purpose of the role is to manage the installations department and take full responsibility ensuring all installation projects are delivered on project, on time whilst meeting the customer’s expectations and legislation.
Taking a lead role in the detailed design of electrical installations for all installations projects, including but not limited to; cable calculations, containment design and layouts, final inspection, testing and certification. The successful candidate will have a complete working knowledge of BS 7671 requirements for Electrical Installations IEE Wiring regulations 16th edition including: BS 5266, BS 5839, BS 6651 and ATEX / Hazardous Area Regulations.
It is essential that you can demonstrate experience in:
The use of AMTECH Prodesign (Cable Calcs), AMTECH Fast Test (NICEIC Certification)
Specification, design, installation and commissioning of equipment with internal and/or external resource.
CDM, CE, PUWER, HSAW
Experienced in CAD
Track record of management of installations contracts, client and/or contractor disputes, contractors, project team, consultants and other external resource.
In return my client offers a basic salary of up to £33,000, company car, stakeholder pension scheme, and private health care.
