Electrical Engineer - Staffordshire
Salary and Location Up to £40k depending on experience.
A growing rolling stock service business is looking for a technically competent electrical engineer to join their team. This position reports directly into the Engineering Manager and involves overseeing service teams tackling engineering issues that arise with clients rolling stock.
Role Description Reporting to the engineering manager, you will have numerous responsibilities associated with providing an effective support service to your clients. This will include but not be limited to; - interfacing with UK and European clients on maintenance issues; - dealing with client's warranty claims; - identifying opportunities for continuous improvements within engineering processes - conducting maintenance, repair, overhaul and fault finding activities where required - leading teams of engineers
Required Experience You will ideally hold a degree in an electrical engineering discipline and have previous experience working with electrical machines (rotating equipment, drives, motors, inverters etc). Project management and man management experience is essential as you will be dealing with key contracts and overseeing the associated workforce. Although previous rail experience is preferred, it is not essential.
