Electrical Engineer–Turbine Department based in Rugby

The Role
The role involves mainly, the monitoring of turbine speed, vibration, eccentricity, valve position, thrust wear and differential expansion.
Requirements
Ideally, candidates should possess the following attributes:
Desire to undertake a high level of technical responsibility for a range of tasks
Desire to have some customer contact requiring occasional travel in the UK, Asia, Africa and north America
Some design experience of turbine monitoring systems Some site experience of turbine monitoring
Excellent technical problem solving skills
Knowledge of control and instrumentation (C&I) engineering
Ability to configure system hardware and define software characterisation
Experience of tender specification and preparation
Some project management experience
Excellent communication skills
