What is the Role?
Currently looking to recruit a civil engineering technician to work within the infrastructure team. My client request an individual with small and large scale civil engineering and infrastructure experience in highway and drainage design, car park layouts and junction design.
You will be asked to provide guidance and advice to engineers and technicians alike on the planning and management of advanced AutoCAD techniques as well as undertaking detailed design of the projects at hand. Responsibility of ensuring the appropriate service and design decisions are made will be yours. You will then have to relay this information on to the relevant member of senior team, Co-ordinating work with other members of the project and preparing technical schedules. You will also take an active role in the development of the CAD systems and procedures, ensuring everything is used efficiently and effectively.

What Skills do I need?
Appropriate technical qualification, such as HNC or higher coupled with relevant industry experience as a civil engineering technician. Proficient user of AutoCAD and 12D is paramount, with the ability to work independently or within the team.
