We are looking for two Design Engineers who are creative and self-motivated and who have had experience in a manufacturing environment to work for a successful manufacturing company who produce a range of innovative living aids for the disabled
The Design engineers will need to be innovative with a good eye for detail and able to work unsupervised to tight deadlines. CAD skills are essential and experience of Solidworks preferred. Experience of design for fabrications or mechanical systems would be highly beneficial
In addition to Solidworks, the ideal candidates for the position of Design Engineer will have had experience of design for manufacture and new product introduction
These positions are available due to the expansion and strengthening of the Engineering Team
Reporting to the Chief Engineer and working in a team of 10 engineers including 4 other designers you would be expected to contribute to the design of a range of products including specialist seating and mobile and overhead hoists
The company's UK customers are primarily the Social Services, Health Authorities and private and charitable sectors.
