Cooling Component Engineer
Powertrain

Across two world-renowned brands, the Jaguar Land Rover Powertrain puts the heart into our vehicles. Specialist teams provide vital support in the design, development and calibration of diesel and petrol engines, engine management systems, transmission units, differential and drive shafts - and of cooling, exhaust, air intake and fuel systems. You’ll devote your expertise to the creation of vehicles that set new standards in engineering, meet environmental requirements and delight our customers.

You will be responsible for specific cooling component delivery, for all our programmes. Working with CAD engineers and PMST engineers and suppliers, you will produce feasible designs that meet the requirements of the component strategy and platform team, as well as ensuring that the drawings and models meet all relevant specifications and standards. You'll also be responsible for timely DVP completion on the specific Cooling Components.

Educated to degree level, or with equivalent experience, you will have a proven engineering background, experience in cooling systems and components engineering and design, and in release of components and systems. You will be experienced in resolving complex technical problems, and have excellent analytical skills. Experience in DFMEA and Quality Engineering tools is important, as are MS Office and MS Project skills. Self motivated and a good team player, you will have excellent management, communication, supplier liaison and project management skills. A driving license valid in the UK is also essential.
