Across two world-renowned brands, the Jaguar Land Rover Powertrain puts the heart into our vehicles. Specialist teams provide vital support in the design, development and calibration of diesel and petrol engines, engine management systems, transmission units, differential and drive shafts - and of cooling, exhaust, air intake and fuel systems. You’ll devote your expertise to the creation of vehicles that set new standards in engineering, meet environmental requirements and delight our customers.
With responsibility for generating models and producing drawings for all components across one of our brands, you’ll produce high quality work – and because you’re modelling Jaguar Land Rover components, they’ll also be works of art. You’ll work closely with our engineering teams to ensure that the designs you produce are feasible for production in line with the Platform team’s needs, meet clearance specifications, and showcase the design quality we are famous for. You’ll also enjoy responsibility for the co-ordination and management of the CAD models within our database.
Together with a good degree – or equivalent experience – in a relevant discipline, you have proven, specialist experience of engineering, and of the CAD design and release of components or systems, using Catia V4, V5, or both. You have a clear understanding of the importance of data management and the application of design quality tools. Highly motivated, with excellent communication skills, you are a good team player with demonstrable knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. |
