A fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a consultancy in Birmingham that can offer full project ownership and genuine accelerated career progression.
The opportunity will involve running projects from inception to completion from day one including developments in the Civils sector. The Quantity Surveyor will be given exposure to all stages of the construction process from pre-contract works to negotiating final account and dealing with project handovers.
The role will include:
• Working part of a specialist team on major highways, civils, rail and energy projects.
• Aiding clients and other design team members to add measurable value to their activities
• Ensuring the delivery of high quality service reflecting profesionalism and dedication
The firm has a strong team, employing over 200 staff, operating from ten UK offices and overseas as well. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established company and join at a stage that could lead to superb development to Senior positions within a short space of time.
Individuals wishing to apply should have experience of Quantity Surveying ideally from a consultancy background but contractors will also be considered. You must be client facing, have good communication skills and a strong work hard, play hard attitude.
• A track record of offering Quantity Surveying services to clients on civil engineering, transportation or related infrastructure
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a client facing approach
• A professional qualification would be a bonus
