A Principle Estimator is required to join a team in Birmingham to work on a variety of Civil projects in operation across the West Midlands for a leading Consultancy.
Key projects include rail and infrastructure, utilities with values in excess of £200 million.
Due to extensive project workload the Estimator will be joining a growing team. Main duties will be as follows:
- Review of documents within tender enquiries
- To accurately produce estimates to strict deadlines
- Make recommendations to enhance competitiveness of company
- Ensure commercial and contractual risk is kept to a minimum.
- Represent commercial opinion of department to both Clients and Management
- Regular liaison with Clients, Team and Management
The Client specialises in major contracts in, utilities, rail, property, nuclear and government sectors. Offering projects, established services nationwide and internationally accompanied by collaborative frameworks, the Client is rapidly expanding to become a key player in the marketplace.
- A proven track record of success within a similar role for a Civil Client is to be expected.
- Candidates from a contracting or consultancy background shall be considered.
- A candidate with a strong rail/infrastructure background is preferable.
- Candidates must be computer literate, take analytical approaches to work and be effective communicators professionally with team and Clients.
