My client is a leading Civil Engineering contractor working on projects mainly covering public infrastructure such as roads and bridges, public realm works, earthworks and reinforced concrete works etc with an annual turnover in excess of £150m as a group their regionally focused office generates a turnover of around £35m.
Due to continued success within this competitive market, my client has secured a number of tenders within a tightening market, and this is down to its highly reputable estimating division.
As a result there is a requirement for 6 Quantity Surveyor to work with this main contractor and develop their career working on high profile infrastructure and general civils projects in the Midlands.
Excellent commercial awareness is a must coupled with excellent negotiation skills. You will ideally come from a main contractor background with experience on highways and infrastructure projects. As a Senior QS you will be a mentor to your direct reports, and assist in the management and development of Trainee Surveyors and other surveying staff as appropriate. |
