Excellent development opportunity for an experienced Building Services Engineer looking for the next step up in management.
This is a pivotal management role within the Birmingham Design Solutions Team. It will involve managing the Building Services department and being responsible for the delivery of projects from within the Business Unit. Reporting to the Head of Business, this role will also involve making an active contribution to the performance and development of the business as a whole in conjunction with other senior managers.
The Role
The purpose of this role will be to plan and drive the growth of the Building Services business within the Birmingham office. It will involve motivating and developing the Building Services team to consistently deliver excellent performance.
Provide technical inspiration and design leadership.
The Person
The right person for this position will be Commercially focused and experienced in dealing with clients and building strong working relationships.
You will also need to be Honours Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering. Chartership, IET, IMechE, CIBSE or equivalent accreditations would be an advantage, but not essential. Although you would be expected to have current knowledge and experience of UK regulations, UK standards and CIBSE guidelines.
In addition you will also be experienced in the design and delivery of Commercial, Public, Education, Healthcare, Sports & Leisure facilities for medium to large scale projects.
