Junior Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor
This company operates within the refurb and fit-out arena, specialising in the Leisure sector. Due to an increased workload they are now seeking to bring a Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor in to the business.
They are in the very fortunate position to have a full order book until 2010.
Established in 1993 they are an extremely established outfit within the Leisure industry.
This is an AMAZING opportunity to join a company that is really going places. In terms of progression, the sky is the limit. They are strong believers in internal promotion, many of the senior staff there already started off in much more junior roles.
The Role
• Heavy involvement in the entire project from start to completion.
• Taking off quants and preparing bills.
• Preparing subcontract packages and vetting subcontractors.
• Involvement in the estimating process.
• Liaising with clients.
It will be predominantly based out of their Head Office in Cannock, although there maybe times when you will be on site.
The company are also very keen to support you through your degree on a day release basis
The company also offer a bonus, TWICE A YEAR!
This bonus is dependent on how successful the company is, it is generally very healthy! They believe that if the company is making money then everyone should get a share of the success.
• HNC or equivalent in relevant subject
• Experience of practical Quantity Surveying is essential
• Experience of the refurb or fit out sector would be very advantageous
• Experience of the Leisure industry is desirable.
