Our client, based in Coventry, is a medium-sized company offering premier quality consultancy, design, engineering, procurement, construction/project management and validation services principally to the process and manufacturing industries and other customers whose facilities include technical complexity.
Skills Required:
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering/ Heavy current/Power Engineering
EU/British passport required
Able and willing to work towards Chartered Engineer status
Main Duties
You will be train to become an Electrical Engineer and perform the following functions: Carry out design studies, safety reviews, generate safety reviews, generate proposals, estimates & specifications, perform calculations (including load level, fault levels and their considerations, protection, grading and discrimination), to be responsible for cost-effective design, testing, commissioning activities and to produce the necessary reports accordingly, HV fault level calculations/protection/ discrimination/ specification/testing and commissioning of such systems.
You will gain Knowledge of requirements for hazardous area installations and experience within the food processing/primary pharmaceutical/secondary pharmaceutical/fine chemicals industries
