We are looking for an Energetic and Innovative individual to join our Client in their newly opened office in Solihull. You will become part of a worldwide team of over 6,000 professionals involved in designing, managing and implementing some of the most exciting leading edge programmes and projects in the water, environmental and energy sectors!
Your role will be to build Client relationships, understand their requirements and support the formulation of appropriate solutions to meet their business needs.
Typical products/services to be developed include:
•Business and regulatory strategy development. •Business process optimisation and transformation. •Knowledge transfer. •Project and programme management. •Strategic investment planning. •Asset management. •IT strategy development •Identifying and documenting new applications and modifications. •Building/testing/implementing IT systems. •Compliance.
The role will require some travel throughout the UK usually working within our clients offices and occasionally beyond, particularly with partners and suppliers.
You should be able to demonstrate your ability in maintaining existing Clients and developing new business, with a proven track record in obtaining positive results in both selling concepts and winning bids from clients. You will have a good understanding of marketing strategy and experience of gathering and recording both client and competitor intelligence.
You will be proactive and take the initiative to drive forward implementations to both meet specified Client requirements and find solutions to meet their needs.
You will possess:
•Good business development leadership and delivery founded upon a thorough understanding of best practice process and procedures. •Track record of sustaining existing client relationships and building backlog. •Track record of identifying, assessing and implementing business development strategy within new market sectors and/or clients. •Competence in coordination and management. •Excellent people skills in relation to communication, motivation and interpersonal relationships. •A good understanding of large utility businesses (for example how project teams work, departments interface, the regulatory environment). •Between 10-15 years of experience working within a regulated utility market, with a developed understanding of regulatory requirements for successful delivery of Final Business Plans. •Experience in the area of Asset Management planning and practices across the regulated utility sector. •Self-motivated taking responsibility for self and team delivery. •Desire to go the extra mile to deliver on time. •Degree qualified.
